As the father of five (5) children and a grand-pop to twelve (12), I have experienced the joy of seeing my kids and grand-kids master the art of riding a bicycle. It was not always easy because of the fear of falling and getting hurt.

Of course as a Toddler learning to ride a bike can be and often is very frighting. Most if not all of this fear has been eliminated by the introduction of the "Balance Bike" which is a 'Kids Bike' that is revolutionizing the way kids learn to ride a bike. It is the perfect learner bike.

Teaching a 2 1/2 to 3 year old how to ride a bike using training wheels is very time consuming and never teaches your child how to balance and peddle at the same time. Now that the "Balance Bike"  is here I would discourage the use of training wheels all together.

I have the experience of teaching my 5 kids how to ride a bicycle with the use of training wheels and now I am teaching my grand-kids how to ride a bike using the "Balance Bike" .
